Programmes

The first Free Word Festival was held to celebrate the creation of the Free Word Centre. The Centre was a noisy place with events for young people - everything from poetry to drama to manga  - plus readings, book launches, talks and topical debates in the lecture theatre with panels that included well known writers and international speakers from literature, literacy and free expression.
