Free Word Centre’s network of Associates includes UK and international writers, journalists, publishers, producers and organisations working across literature, literacy and free expression, culture and the arts.
Associates are a key part of the Free Word community, and are central to our ambition of encouraging collaboration and networking. Free Word works extensively with both Associates and Residents as partners for projects.

Annual fees for Associates
UK, West Europe, North America and Australia
- Individuals: £150 + vat
- Organisations of 2-4 employees: £300 + vat
- Organisations of 4-8 employees: £500 + vat
- Organisations of 8 or more employees: £700 + vat
Rest of the World
- Individuals: £80 + vat
- Organisations of 2-4 employees: £210 + vat
- Organisations of 4-8 employees: £350 + vat
- Organisations of 8 or more employees: £490 + vat
